  Has the running of the electron mass ever been measured? Is it possible at the LHC?

QED predicts that the electron mass slightly changes with energy: it "runs" with energy. 

Has this effect ever been measured for the electron? Can this effect be measured at the LHC? 

Google Scholar does not seem to yield any publication.

Please give a reference for the claimed effect.

Arnold, is this a trick question? Feynman talks about the renormalization and the running of mass in his book "QED", in the chapter called "Loose ends".

No. But your question was very unprecise; in QED, the electron mass is a constant defining (together with the electron charge) the theory. So you are asking abot whether the dependence of the running electron mass (which is a different thing, depending on the choice of the renormalization scale) on the energy has been measured.

I don't know the answer.
