About:

When you play baccarat, the value of the playing cards varies depending on their rank. There is no Joker card, so playing hands consisting of nine and six will total fifteen points. However, cards from two to nine have pip values. A card number four is worth four points in baccarat, and so on. Tens and picture cards are worth zero points and aces are worth one point. Consequently, it is advisable to play baccarat with at least two hands.

The French word 'chemin de fer' refers to 'railroad'. This game is played mainly in France and is virtually impossible to find in casinos in the United States. In this version of baccarat, players wager against each other, but the house still receives a 5% winning commission. In addition, players may bet on the drawing of a third card. The rules of the game are similar to those of the American version, and players take turns being the Banker.

The player and the banker each receive two hands. The player gets one card when the total is less than six, while the banker gets one when the hand exceeds seven. The banker must be able to draw three cards if his hand is higher than the two players' hands. A hand with seven points is considered a natural. Players with six or seven cards will stand, and the banker will be forced to draw a third card.
