Ways to fix Error 1606:

You can fix this error by installing the QuickBooks in selective startup 

First press Windows +R simultaneously, this will open the Run command.

In the command box, type Msconfig and select the OK icon. 

Next, from the general tab select the option of Selective startup and Load system services. 

Choose ‘Hide all microsoft services from the services tab. 

Next you have to Select the disable icon and then unmark the checkbox of ‘Hide all microsoft Services’.

Choose the window installer checkbox from the list and then click on the OK icon. 

Choose the restart tab from the system configuration.
