The QuickBooks application may undergo various types of errors due to several reasons. One such reason causing the error is a failed payroll update, which occurs due to disabled QuickBooks File Copy Service (FCS). The issue is represented by QuickBooks error 15241, and to resolve this problem, you will have to take specific measures.

Firstly, close the QB application and right-click on This PC icon on the desktop. Click Manage from the drop-down list and choose Services and Applications on the left side control panel. After that, double-click on the Services option and open the Intuit QuickBooks FCS. Click the General tab > click Startup Type > Manual. Now click Apply to confirm the settings, click Start and select Ok. Now you can open the QB application.
