Yeah it's a nice campus and a comfortable place to live at. However I have mixed feelings about our physics department. Professors are generally nice persons, but there's practically no theoretical research at all. The high ranking results from a heavy investment in highly citable branches such as experimental material science, nanotech and laser stuff. Besides, QS ranking isn't all that convincing, just look at where it has ranked KTH and Stony Brook, Rutgers....

I composed that message to be funny when read, it doesn't work when delivered orally. I try to be fair to everyone, but really this discussion is over what type of control on speech is appropriate, and my position is "none", and this never is popular with anyone except American constitutional scholars, so I need to repeat it and explain it with examples, until it sinks in that it really is true.

Ok, sorry, just making sure you are honest. Delete the last comment. Regarding the question, it was for sure fairly voted on, I know you can't see it and this is paranoia. As for me, Dilaton nominated me, and retracted the vote in the text of the nomination.

Ok, can you please stop playing ridiculous internet games here--- it seems that you enjoy purposefully trying to sow conflict among the mods. There is enough real conflict without your nonsense added. Also, I'm not a nut, the paranoia I had for a second was justified by my misunderstanding of old messages and things you don't know anything about, and that are completely irrelevant, and resolved now.

The red server error happens from time to time, it's a known bug, but the message goes through. I didn't get a message however. As I am no longer admin, I'm not going to deal with site issues anymore.

VK requested deletion and his account was deleted as requested. Ron thinks it was punitive, despite the clear evidence of him requesting the deletion (see the block log).
