The Dawn of the Reviews section: the first phase is completed

Good news! PolarKernel has now completed the first phase of our Reviews section: The submission type.

The submission is a new post type which is like a question except that:

• There are two voting criteria: Originality and Accuracy. The total score of the post is calculated from these two factors which you can read more about in the FAQ.
• Multiple authors can be added to the post by an administrator. It can also be authorless.  
• It is called a submission and its answers are called reviews.
• Each submission's body has an unremovable piece of text (we know about the typo and will correct it soon) at the top containing a link to the paper and some instructions.

You can see two example submissions with attached reviews (thanks Lubos for letting us take content from your blog!) below:

You can also look at the activity page to see how submissions are displayed in question lists.

PolarKernel has also developed a plugin which can be used to submit a paper from an ArXiV URL. The plugin is currently available only to super-administrators but will be available for all once the reviews category actually goes up (automatically graduating PhysicsOverflow).   

What next?

The next part of the development of the reviews section would contain:

• Assigning reputation to authors based on submission score.
• Changing the maximum category depth to four.
• Mass-importing all ArXiV physics papers.
• Making a plugin for daily imports of new ArXiV physics papers.
