The authors produce a dynamical model for the non-renormalizable terms in the Higgs-QCD sector which link the Higgs scale to the QCD scale. The non-renormalizable terms produce inflation dynamics which stop the inflation at the point where the Higgs expectation value settles down naturally at a scale comparable to the strong interaction scale. This class of models provides a strong solution to the hierarchy problem, different from any previously considered.
