  (Super)Gauge Fixing in Supersymmetry

I have three questions about gauge fixing in supersymmetry, one is general and the other two explicit:

  1. Why gauge fixing seems not important in supersymmetry? By "not important" I mean gauge fixing is not even mentioned in Terning's SUSY book. In Martin's "SUSY Primer",arXiv:hep-ph/9709356, he only argued Wess-Zumino gauge, which is only partial gauge fixing. Besides, in original paper of NSVZ beta function, when introducing Lagrangian they claim: "dots denote gauge fixing and ghost terms which are inessential here."

  2. Should supergauge fixing also be supersymmetric? I mean in super Yang-mills theory, do we need to also gauge fixing gaugino fields in additional to gauge fields? If so, then how?

  3. What's the right gauge fixing, in superfield level and components level respectively? In section 6.2 of book arXiv:hep-th/0108200 and some other references, they use gauge fixing $${\overline D ^2}V = 0$$, but one reference arXiv:1310.8250v2 use $${\overline D ^2}{D^2}V = 0$$, which is right? How the right gauge fixing in superfield match the gauge fixing in component level? What puzzled me most is that naively it seems neither gauge fixing above fix the gauge part or gaugino part of the vector super field $V$.

Any comment on any part of the questions above would be greatly appreciated.
