minor layout bug

Question

This is a very minor thing, but: the toolbar with the links "Ask Question", "All Activity", etc. looks fine in Chrome under normal magnification, but if I zoom in (cmd-+ on a Mac, probably ctrl-+ on other platforms), the last link ("Blog") wraps around to a separate line, which looks a bit silly. (I notice this because I always browse zoomed in, due to bad eye sight.)

Also, the same thing happens (at any zoom level) when browsing on an iphone.

This could be achieved using a fluid layout. I don't think this could be achieved easily, as it would need quite an advanced theme. I have suggested it for Q2A 1.7, but I suspect it will not arrive so soon, maybe we should expect it in Q2A 2.0 or something : (

However, if you are always zoomed in, you can achieve it through an extremely simple line of CSS through Stylish,

​ul.qa-nav-main-list li.qa-nav-main-item {font-size:13px;}

Regarding browsing through an iphone, we may need to have a simpler mobile theme once the site is older, for example without the sidebar, and many links in the NavBar, a simpler logo, etc.

Haha, no I'm not going to install a user script to fix a bug on your end! I can live with it looking silly, I just thought you might want to know. If the fix is one line of CSS then just fix the CSS for everyone.

I believe it was working correctly until the text of the links changed at some point. It might be worth just changing the link text. E.g. changing "Recent Posts" to just "Recent" would probably do it.

@Nathaniel That's a good idea; done. Changed "Recent Posts" to "Recent QA" and "All Activity" to "Activity". It now doesn't make a separate line.  

The reason why the CSS can't be done for everyone is that it should only be done when the users zoom in, like you do. For the size to change depend on zoom, this can't be done through plain CSS, it would require some very different theme.
