Does current day formation of new galaxies expand space-time?

If the formation of new galaxies expands the universe... then a multi-bang theory should be looked for which would explain why to this day the expansion of the universe is increasing. It could also explain that particles not only move through space on their own but that more than likely space itself moves through particles causing strange quantum effects (maybe we also need some sort of Anti-Aliasing filter to see things as they relatively are.) But who knows? Math is a delicate tool, not to be used as a hammer and a chisel.
