I have been working $2d$ $N=(2,2)$ theories focused on checking duality like, Seiberg duality (2d version: named "Hori-Tong" duality) and its extension.
During the study i got $2d$ $N=(2,2)$ theories are related with Mirror symmetry ($2d$ $N=(2,2)$ Gauged Linear Sigma model plays an important role) and topological field theories.
I want to know what is the importance of $2d$ supersymmetric gauge theories.
