is it possible that detecting and sensing a magnet using an alternating current metal detector?

hello. I'm now studying about principle of metal detector

I read that metal detector can find metal using eddy current and Electromagnetic induction

then, is it possible to detect and to sense a magnet with metal detector?

if possible, how accuratly detect?
