  Could there be a more fundamental reason that forces us to accept QM as true even without looking at the experiments? ?

Quantum mechanics arose in the 20th century when people were trying to explain certain paradoxes that arose in atomic physics. I believe that if you think deeply enough about certain experimental results such as the double slit interference and atomic spectra , You will find that it is very hard to avoid quantum mechanics. But my question is whether there is a more fundamental reason that quantum mechanics must be true. Is there a more fundamental theoretical reason that will force us to accept quantum mechanics as true ?

Without experiment (i.e., input from reality), nothing can force any rational person to accept anything.

Great. But , John wheeler asked the same question. My question is : Why does the superposition principle hold ? Experimental evidence tells us that there is no way that nature is described by a classical theory. But , the question is why is nature compelled to obey this principle ?

The question ultimately is why should nature obey certain laws and not others. For example , Is it possible that there can't be universes described by completely different laws because these universes are necessarily inconsistent mathematically?This is a philosophical question but I tend to think it is important.

Depending on a chosen level of precision, there may be different theories. QM is never "alone" since it requires observations, i.e., a classical environment allowing measurements.

Why should nature be compelled to anything? Why should it obey certain laws? Unless God forces it, there is no reason to suppose that it should.

However, we observe laws, and describe these. This is called science.

Well , One can imagine a set of axioms that form the basis of some mathematical theory about aa universe call it X. X might not be QM , Imagine that the theory is mathematically consistent .Can some sort of complex systems with consciousness evolve in  a universe based on X ?
