Did I dream or somebody  transforms my comment (in "Relation of Betti numbers to Veneziano's scattering amplitude?") into an answer ?  This has to be only a comment. If I am responsible for this (I don't think so, but who knows), how to transform the answer into a simple comment ? Thanks.

Hi Trimok, I made it a comment again for now ... The person who converted it probably thought it is a good enough partial answer without meaning any harm.

I think it was me, as I had converted a comment into an answer earlier. Strangely though, I don't remember having converted this partiarticular comment into an answer, I Musgrave entered the wrong id for the comment. Sorry about that.

This happened to me too, and it always causes me discomfort, as I put a comment up only when I think it is not complete enough to be a full answer, and I can think of lots of explicit things to add. Can we please not do this so much anymore, at least not before asking the author for consent on their wall or in a private message or something equivalent?
