The mobile theme for PhysicsOverflow has been released. It's a slight fork of Noah Y's q2a-mobile-theme, which was released 4-years ago.

As you can see, it's still a work-in-progress, but it was necessary to do so, due to certain developments in the search engine world. Meanwhile, you can get the old version of the theme back on most popular mobile browsers. Usually, the option would be available in the browser's app menu, e.g.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused, the mobile theme will be updated soon to be more usable (not just to google's search bot, but to real human beings).

With this change, part of the sidebar has disappeared - e.g., no longer links to "Categories", "Tags", "Users" and "search User". Please repair!

Ah, I see now that the links are there but embedded in the text, but this is less useful than the old way where the links were itemized and no connecting text.

I agree with Arnold, the old itemized way makes it easier to find the lists of users, tags, etc ...

@ArnoldNeumaier This is not related to the mobile theme. I'll see what I can do, the old one was a bit ugly.

edit: @ArnoldNeumaier @Dilaton Is the new one better?

@Dimension10 yep it is getting better, now I see even the yellow notification :-)

@Dilaton I was asking about the "Categories", "tags", "users" thing. I didn't touch the mobile theme yet : )

They moved to the line above the welcome. This is fine.
