PhysicsOverflow moved from HTTP to HTTPS

Question

Today I have moved PhysicsOverflow to HTTPS, the secure version of the web protocol that helps to protect user privacy. You should see this by having a padlock or a green indicator shown in the browser. Old links or bookmarks get automatically redirected to the new address. Using HTTPS, we prevent malicious third parties from inserting code into our site, or tracking what our users are doing. A trusted connection between the user and PhysicsOverflow is now provided by three protection layers:

• Encryption: Securing the exchanged data to prevent eavesdropping on the connections.
•  Data integrity: Confidence that the data has not been altered mid transit without being detected.
• Authentication: Assuring the website you are connecting to is who you expect them to be.

I did my best to adapt the site completely to the new protocol. However, PhysicsOverflow is a complex site with a huge content and testing it completely is very time consuming. There may still be pages that I didn't find, where your browser shows a warning. This would for instance happen, when content (mainly images) gets imported from a site that does not support HTTPS. The browser may then complain "mixed content" or block this content to be loaded. Should you struggle over such a page, please drop a feedback message to the admins (bottom left of every page). I will then correct these pages. Thanks for your help.
