Someone please recommend books on Symmetry Breaking for postgraduate of physics major?

I am a postgraduate student of theoretical physics major. To begin my study, I decided to gain familiarity with the related field of symmetry breaking, especially spontaneous symmetry breaking. Could someone please recommend some not very hard to understand and high ranking books about these field?

Or someone if could please tell me commonly a symmetry breaking occurs in the direction from low entropy status to high entropy status or in the inverse direction or both directions are tenable?
