I am looking for some introductary text about holographic renormalization at about the length of a lecture note, that does not need much heavier prerequisites concerning string theory than Barton Zweibach's first course book if possible ...
But any suggestions are welcome of course.
I haven't studied this topic yet, but there is a very recent pedagogical introduction:
