Can SE questions just be imported to the right categories, without any legal problems?

This is the question that I am referring to: I have imported it to the "Theoretical Physics" category to test . . .

I just realised, that questions can be imported into categories other than SE.Imported too, and have no problems, of any kind, the attributions are still there, etc. So, would it be fine to import all the Physics.SE questions to the correct categories, as opposed to SE.Imported, then the SE.Imported category can be deleted?

I have imported a lot of SE questions into the right categories, as opposed to SE.Imported. If this is not to be done for some reason, it is easy to revert this, by merging these categories into SE.Imported temporarily. This can be done simply by temporarily deleting the sections to which these questions have been imported, choosing "SE.Imported" as the destination category, and then recreating the categories which were deleted.

If it is fine to import them into the respective categories, then we should empty the SE.Imported category manually by re-categorising it's questions, then delete the category, and then merging the SE.TP category into the "Theoretical Physics" category.

Maybe you are right, I am not 100% sure ... We should probably discuss this with Polarkernel too.

The questions you mention are nice theoretical physics questions of course ...

I see no problem, as long as the attribution line gets not edited, but this is not a question of category. The imported questions have no special type, they are questions like all others. The attribution is complete as it has to be and the links remain intact. No, can't find any objection.
