Wall for Dilaton

Regarding Leonarshke, he is probably a spambot, there is no need to waste your time writing comments below his posts.

Dear Dilaton,

Thank you for the post on my wall. I did not know that my questions were being posted without being registered. I posted all my questions after logging in, and so was under the impression that the questions were being posted under my username. If this is indeed a login problem, what should I do?

Thanks,

Sanath Devalapurkar

OK, that makes sense now: some of your questions and answers were imported from Physics Stack Exchange.

Why have you got 3,160 points whereas I have zero?

You mentioned <a href="http://tpproposal.wordpress.com/2013/12/31/is-a-reputation-driven-privilege-system-appropriate-to-implement-community-moderation-on-physics-overflow/">here</a>; at the end that there is a plug-in that allows short tag descriptions. which you have installed on the test site. Which is this plug-in, I thought it would be the "Q2A tag tools" plugin, but it is not.

@Dilaton I just realised, that questions can be imported into categories other than SE.Imported too, and have no problems, of any kind, the attributions are still there, etc. So, would it be fine to import all the Physics.SE questions to the correct categories, as opposed to SE.Imported, then the SE.Imported category can be deleted?

@Dilaton is that possible? That would be a very good idea,  also see this: http://physicsoverflow.org/trollsouthere14/index.php?qa=4545&qa_1=how-many-points-should-one-lose-for-being-downvoted&show=4598#c4598 If so is possible, can't the   "Refreeing" rep settings be changed too, such that downvotes cost less on that section?

Yes, the mixing between "meta" rep and "main page rep" is a general problem. The cleanest solution would be to set the reputation gain per upvote in the whole meta category to 0 ...

I think the meta.TP.SE questions are unnecessary here, and harmful, since they increase the reputation of people like Grace Note, etc.       who are SO developers, with nothing to do with physics. At least it should be anonymised or something.
